Vistralo/Compare/Arcade
Vistralo and Arcade compared
Arcade builds product demos that a viewer clicks through, step by step, and it has added AI video on top. Vistralo makes one kind of thing: a narrated film cut from a plain recording, a set of screenshots or a website. The two overlap more than their home pages suggest, so this page is specific about where.
What this page says about Arcade was read on Arcade's own website and help centre on 13 October 2026. Products change, so check the sources listed at the end before you decide.
The short version
- Choose Arcade when
- The demo is for marketing or sales. You want the viewer to click through it, to branch by what they care about, to fill in a form, and you want to see who did. Arcade does all of that and embeds the result on your site.
- Choose Vistralo when
- You want to explain something to a colleague or a client and not build anything. You record once in silence, and the screens are found, narrated and held for you. There are no steps to arrange and no hotspots to place.
Side by side
| Question | Vistralo | Arcade |
|---|---|---|
| What you end up with | A narrated film that people watch from start to end. | An interactive demo people click through, and also AI-made product videos. |
| How it is made | Record or upload. The screens are found for you and each gets one spoken line. | Capture the steps, then edit them: hotspots, callouts, chapters and branches. |
| Where you capture | In a desktop browser, with nothing to install. | A Chrome extension, desktop apps for macOS and Windows, a Figma plugin, or uploaded media. |
| AI voice | Yes. Every stop is spoken, and the picture holds until the line ends. | Yes. Synthetic voices per step, in many languages, and an AI video product that writes and voices a script. |
| Who pays for the AI | Included on Pro and Studio. On Free, you pay OpenAI and HeyGen directly, on your own keys. | Monthly AI credits come with each plan, including the free one. |
| From screenshots | Yes. Up to 36 images, one line each. | Yes. Its AI video accepts images, screenshots, PDFs and URLs. |
| From a website address | A Visual brief: captures plus the libraries, fonts and effects found in the page's code. | A brand kit: logos, colours, fonts and writing style. We found no analysis of the technology behind a page. |
| What viewers can do | Watch through a read-only link. | Click, branch, submit forms and comment. You get analytics and a list of leads. |
| Price | See pricing. | A free plan with one published demo and one video. Growth is listed at $50 per seat each month. |
What Arcade does better
- Interactivity. A viewer drives an Arcade demo and can take different routes through it. A Vistralo film plays in one order.
- Selling. Forms, buttons that lead somewhere, lead lists and integrations with tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce are part of the product.
- Measurement. It has insights on how each demo is viewed. Vistralo does not count views.
- Editing. You can rewrite each step, restyle it and translate it. Vistralo gives you a script to edit and a trim tool.
- AI that is ready to use. Credits are included, so there are no keys to fetch from other companies. Vistralo's Free plan needs your own OpenAI and HeyGen keys.
- Assurance. Arcade's security page states SOC 2 Type II, and it offers single sign-on. Vistralo has neither.
Where Vistralo is the simpler tool
An interactive demo is something you build. Someone decides the steps, writes the text on each one and keeps it current. That effort pays off when hundreds of prospects will click through it.
Most explanations are smaller: one person showing another how a page works, once. For those, Vistralo asks for a recording and nothing else. It decides where the stops are from the footage, and the narration is written from what each screen shows.
The Visual brief is also aimed at a different reader: the person who has to build a page like the one captured, and needs to know which libraries it really uses.
