Vistralo/Help/AI narration

Reviewing and approving the script

When Vistralo waits for you to approve a script, when it does not, and how to change the narration afterwards.

Whether you see the script before it is spoken depends on how the project started.

Website projects wait for you

If you turned on "Draft an AI narration script" when analysing a website, the draft appears on the project's Visual brief tab under "AI narration". The page says: "Check the words before a voice speaks them. Nothing goes to the voice provider until you approve."

  • Edit the text in "Narration script". It can be up to 5,000 characters, and a count under it shows how many you have used.
  • "Save script" keeps your changes without making a voice.
  • "Approve and generate narrated video" sends the script to be spoken. You then see "Approved. Narration is being generated."

Recordings and uploads do not

An AI walkthrough from a recording, a video or screenshots is made in one go. The script is written and spoken without stopping for approval. That is what makes it quick, and it means you should play the result before you share it widely.

Reading what was said

The project's Overview lists the screens by number, each with the line written for it. Choosing a row moves the player to that screen.

Making the narration again

Use "Redo AI voice-over" on the project. It runs the narration again. On your own keys, OpenAI and HeyGen charge you for it again.

If narration fails

The project says why and offers "Retry AI voice-over". If the reason is a missing key, add it first. See OpenAI and HeyGen keys.
