Vistralo/Help/Sharing

Removing a link

Revoke a share link to switch it off at once. Moving the project to Trash revokes all of its links.

Revoke one link

  1. Open the project and press "Share". In the panel shown after recording, the button is "Manage links".
  2. Find the link in the list. Each shows when it expires.
  3. Press "Revoke". You see "Share link revoked" and the list marks it "Revoked".

From that moment the link opens a page that says "This link is unavailable". This cannot be undone. To share again, create a new link, which has a new address.

Revoke every link on a project

Move the project to Trash. That revokes all of its links. Restoring the project does not bring them back, so create new ones afterwards.

What revoking cannot do

It stops the link from working. It cannot reach a copy someone already downloaded with "Download the video", or a recording they made of their own screen while watching.

Letting a link lapse

Every link expires without any action from you, after the 1, 7 or 30 days chosen when it was made.

A link to something that is yours

If someone else's Vistralo link shows your work without your agreement, write to contact@vistralo.com with the link.
