Vistralo/Help/Sharing

Who can see what

Projects are private to your account. A share link opens one video or one brief, read-only, and nothing else.

Your projects

A project belongs to the account that made it. Other accounts cannot open it or find it. A workspace has one person in it today.

What a share link shows

Anyone who has the link, with or without an account, sees one page:

  • "Shared with you · Read only" and the project's name.
  • The video, or the Visual brief, with the date the link works until.
  • "Narrated by an AI voice." under a narrated film.
  • "Download the video".

If the narrated film is still being made, the page plays your recording and says: "This is the recording as it was made. A narrated version is being prepared and will replace it at this address."

What it does not show

The project's other files, its trim plan, its job history, your other projects and your name or email address are not on the page. The dialog says it this way: "Other files and job history stay private."

A link is a key

Vistralo cannot tell who is opening a link. Whoever has it can watch, and can pass it on. Send it the way you would send the video itself, and use a short expiry for anything sensitive.

What goes to the AI providers

When you ask for narration, pictures from the recording go to OpenAI and the script goes to HeyGen. On Pro and Studio this runs on Vistralo's accounts with them unless you saved your own keys. On Free it runs on your own keys. See How the script is written.
