Vistralo takes something on a screen and explains it. You give it a recording, a video, a set of screenshots or the address of a public website. It finds each distinct screen, writes one spoken line about it, voices the line, and holds the picture on that screen while the line plays.
The six ways to start
Record is at the top of the sidebar, with a plus button beside it that lists the rest.
- "Record an AI walkthrough". You click through in silence and the AI explains every screen after you stop.
- "Record a talk-through". Your microphone is recorded with the screen.
- "Record a section". You record part of the screen.
- "Narrate a video". You upload a recording you already have.
- "Narrate screenshots". A set of images becomes a narrated walkthrough.
- "Analyze a website". A public address becomes a Visual brief.
What you get back
Every one of these makes a project. A walkthrough project has a player, the list of screens that were found with the line written for each, and a share link. A website project has a Visual brief: screenshots of the page with notes on what it is built with.
What it does not do
- It is a web app. There is no browser extension, desktop app or mobile app.
- A workspace belongs to one person. There are no teams, comments or view counts.
- On the Free plan, AI narration needs your own OpenAI and HeyGen keys. Pro and Studio include it. See OpenAI and HeyGen keys.
